Hotel dekat Birch Aquarium

"Ugh. We stayed two days for a wedding at La Valencia and booked a suite. We are SD natives and my husband grew up in LA Jolla. It was located a bit away from the front desk and up a steep portion of a hill with stairs. Tough to navigate in a gown and heels and a workout with all our bags to get to valet when leaving. Be sure to plan some time for the valet to get your car. The room is VERY dated and the layout needs to be better thought out. Wear socks on the carpet! Our neighbors room service...

"Excellent staff and location!"

"I didn’t like, they charge for parking and the water at my room.I like the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The pawns the gym was ok"

"Chambre excellente . Personnel à l'acceuil malheureusement peu acceillante."

"Wonderful staff. Good food and clean rooms."

"The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was big and clean just needs a bit of updating. Breakfast was included and they had a good selection. The hotel was close to UC San Diego to visit our daughter."

"There were several negative experiences that made the stay overall not great. For starters our room did not have hooks for towels and the inside of one of our robes was covered in some dark brown stains. Additionally the staff was very curt and not courteous in general. Finally, at one point we were out by the pool when a man at the restaurant above began yelling obscenities down at us for about 5 minutes until we called into the front desk. We didn’t receive as much as an apology for this. I...

"We stayed in room 808, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. I knew the room was only accessed by stairs. Part of the stairs did not have a handrail (assuming because of construction) When checking in, the very nice desk clerk said it was stair access only, and there were two weddings that weekend, so music will be playing loud until 10pm, & the room was an older room with decor from the 70's. There are 92 steps to get to room 808. Doesn't count for the short pathways between stairs (117 total steps if...

"Very friendly staff, it’s a great hotel right on PB with tons of restaurants and bars on the walk!"

"Beautiful small boutique hotel in gorgeous La Jolla. Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach!"

"The location is fabulous. The room was satisfactory. The outdoor beach area was fantastic. The staff was very helpful. The only issue that was concerning was that there were not enough parking spaces at the hotel for all patrons. This was panic inducing at times trying to find alternative parking, though I was fortunate to find it without going too far."

"I loved this hotel so much I will definitely stay there again the location is prime and the restaurant is incredible"

"Perfect for business travel"

"Restaurant inside hotel was horrible don’t even try it"
