"This was one of the best Inn's I've stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and friendly. The room was perfect, clean, bright and exactly as in the photos. The common areas were so inviting, there was outdoor garden spaces, indoor spaces with comfy seating for curling up with a book. The breakfast was amazing with many choices. I would highly recommend and I'm already try to plan another trip there."

"Most things okay, but as is too often the case, the secure cycle storage requested and confirmed in the booking stage didn't exist! Really not happy leaving an irreplaceable bespoke bicycle in the cleaner's room!"

"The bed was super comfy and a king size. Towels were fluffy and big. Room was hot but it was the time of the heatwave and a fan was already in the room so all good. The breakfast was delicious and loads of it. The staff were also great, particularly Jimmy who showed us to our room, he served us a pint and said that if it was not up to standard, to let him know and he’d change it! All great customer service, all round from everyone at the Nags Head - well done all!"

"The staff were very nice and helpful. The main areas of the hotel are pleasant and the hotel was clearly once a very grand building. The superior double room we had was a bit tired but the main problem was the heat. It was facing the afternoon sun and it had been a hot day. No attempt had been made to draw the curtains to keep the heat out so as a result the room was absolutely stifling. The window would only open about 2 inches so no fresh air could get in overnight. "We had a great stay as a family. Our room had a beautiful sea view, and the kids absolutely loved the bunk beds. The separate kids’ sleeping area, divided by a curtain, gave everyone a bit of their own space, which worked really well for us. The hotel’s beachfront location was fantastic, making it easy to spend time by the sea. We also appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly touches, such as the little spade and beach bucket provided for the children. Overall, it’s a great choice for families...

"It’s an old historic building. There was no AC, but mercifully the weather was cool at night, so it turned to be no issue for us. Nice location."

"We had such a fantastic stay. The hotel is right opposite two bus stops which take you right to Newport, Ryde and Sandown and there is a Co-Op just down the road. The staff were so welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The room was restocked daily and cleaned beautifully. The food on the restaurant was outstanding. It can be a bit noisy until 11 due to it being a pub but it was not ongoing and we were not disturbed by it. We could not have asked for another place to stay."
