"The location sits beside the river Ouse. Beautiful location. Restaurants, shops, mall, all nearby. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was immaculate and checked in with me daily to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was fabulous, outside seating and reasonably priced. I made this home for two weeks while I visited from Seattle. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed and I will definitely return here when I come back again. Highly recommended!"
"We have stayed twice before and were given the room with the double baths again which sadly we didn’t have time to take advantage of. The room is spacious with a big four poster bed. There was a great fan provided which helped greatly with the warm weather.
Breakfast was great but there was quite a delay between ordering and receiving our food. The food was hot and delicious though. "
"In an attempt to avoid travelling in the heat, we arrived very early. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to provide drinks.
We decided to stay for lunch and were not disappointed with the food. Steaks being cooked to perfection, with desserts of sticky toffee pudding and brownie being to die for!
When we did get to go to our room, we found it more than adequate, very clean and tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge to store our own goodies.
There was ample wardrobe space...
"For the price, oustanding facilities. Nice environment, great artwork, good libby and lounge area. Loved the availability of self service hot drinks and water coolers on each floor. The lounges were comfortable and have good facilites to work if required. The fitness suite, pool and sauna were all clean and comfortable. Rooms had a hood size deak, appropriate lamps, powerful showers and comfortable pillows and beds."
