"Chose this hotel because it had cheaper rates than others of similar class in the area. The hotel is in pretty good shape except the fitness room is closed (this was listed at the time of booking) and the pool closes at 8, which makes it difficult to use if you have day plans.They have a pool lift chair but it was broken (as is usually the case in these types of motels) so we couldn’t use the pool anyway, but it did not look clean and had a green tinge to it. The room seemed pretty clean, except the floor in front of the mini fridge was sticky and there was something spilled inside the fridge that wasn’t cleaned. We stayed three nights and never had any housekeeping. I’m used to most motels not having housekeeping since Covid, but there was a sign in the bathroom that said they would change out towels and sheets daily unless we wanted to be “environmentally friendly” and should let the front desk know we did not want this service, so I thought we would have daily housekeeping. We didn’t bring our dog but the hotel is dog friendly which may be the reason for the extremely strong odor of cleaning product in the hallways. As I heard one person say: it’s not a bad smell, just strong. I read in one review/description that there was a bar; there is not. I also read in several reviews that the TV is difficult to use: true. Instructions in the rooms would be helpful. We never made it to breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Would probably stay there again especially if bringing dog."
