"One of the elevators was out, and had been for while, apparently. It was a common sight for there to be a line of people waiting for the one remaining elevator. So we used the stairs 95% of the time, as it was much faster. Also we reserved a room with a sofa bed months ago, yet when we checked in, there wasn’t one of those available nor an upgrade to a larger room. "The bed had an uneven mattress, with unfitted sheets and the spring box mattress was metallic all around, so it was very noisy. The hotel needs an overall upgrade. The checking area was cluttered and disorganized. I wouldn’t stay again or at least for no more than 1 night."

"The tides is such an amazing way for a family to experience the beach. Right on the water, the rooms have plenty of space and storage as well as bunk beds for kiddos. We much prefer this to renting a condo in Orange beach. The breakfast buffet in the morning is so affordable and a great way to start the day looking out over the gulf.
