"Parking was horrible. No on site parking. Have to walk to park under city hall and pay. Can’t hardly park out front to load or unload. Only a few spots on a narrow one way road. The room was hot and uncomfortably heated. No control (thermostat wouldn’t work) except to open the door to the balcony which took a phone call at 2 in the morning to figure out how to open the door. Then had trash trucks making noises right out side that open door. Shower has no curtain so water splashes out onto bath floor - slippery mess. Breakfast was expensive but good. Don’t get value for what you pay. "

"The location is excellent! It’s close walking distance to many tourist sites and museums in the city and close to the Maritime Museum bus stop. We loved the breakfast provided by the hotel and the Hygge coffee shop and bakery there. The spa was closed during our stay which wasn't great and we weren’t refunded the extra money we had paid for spa access. They did include one day of free hotel breakfast and a free coffee for the two of us though which was very kind. The staff were all very lovely and helpful. There was even a cat hanging around the front lobby area for most of our stay"

"The absolute perfect place to stay on my first solo trip and first time in Iceland! The location was beyond convenient. The hubs were cozy and modern. USB and USB-C ports on either side of the bed, mood lighting, Bluetooth speakers. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Staff was quick to answer any questions i had. 100000/10 recommend."

"Great location. Lobby is always busy due to restaurant and bakery on site, which can be cumbersome for guests trying to get to the check-in desk. This property charges in Euros, which is unusual. Parking garage is TINY but convenient, especially if you have an electric car and need to charge. It’s very cheap, you just need to ask the front desk to use the charger. "

"Helpful staff with pleasant personalities, though sometimes difficult to follow walking directions to places nearby. Our room had a spectacular view of a harbor and snow covered mountain. The shower, which had a swinging door and drainage on the bathroom floor, was odd, but we figured it out and it worked. With only a handful of free parking spaces it could be dicey, but we had no problem. We would stay there again, because it’s a great location."
