"We booked for 2 nights through Expedia and Expedia only sent our booking for one night. The fellow who was at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We had to pay the hotel for the second night and deal with Expedia. It took 3 days and many conversations with rude and unreasonable men from Expedia. The hotel was wonderful and I recommend not to use Expedia."

"Breakfast"

"Upon check in there were a few people ahead of me that were making complaints about having no hot water in their rooms and needing to change rooms. I stayed with my daughter who is under 1 years old, and we thankfully did have hot water in our room. They put us in a quieter part of the hotel which was nice. Most of the hotel smells like cigarettes from the casino area and food area, the lobby wreaked of cigarette smoke as well."

"My son and I each had a room. I did not see the state of my son's room until the next morning. My room: food and giant dust balls under the beds. Thick dust on the AC unit, bathroom vent, lamps. Pee, hair and dirt around the toilet. Crud in the window track. During the night the refrigerator stopped working and the massively iced-over freezer melted all over the floor. I used my towels to soak it up. Son's room: equally dirty. Sock from previous guest on a lightbulb. Missing smoke detector. Hair...

"spacious suites for the entire family"

"This one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had lately and I’ve been traveling a lot. Clean, helpful, quiet, close to stores I needed and easy access to the places I was visiting on this trip."

"We liked: location, historic building, interesting art on the walls, breakfast, free garage parking, etc. Local food options around the area were excellent too. And it is so nice to be in an authentically original hotel compared to chain hotels that seem to be MBA’ed into being all the same."

"The room was very hot (high 70’s) and did not cool off the entire night in spite of the air conditioning being set in the 50’s. Very difficult to sleep in that environment."

"There was no refrigerator or microwave in are room. Plus I stayed because of water slide and pool, but water slide was not open the front desk said they were waiting on part to fix it. If I was offered some kind of refund I would not be pissed because that’s why we choose this hotel. My grandkids were very disappointed."
