"The Greenwich Double Tree is an excellent hotel, the rooms were clean and spacious enough for a couple, with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The staff were very friendly and service excellent, which I value highly. The hotel offered a 25% discount on the price of breakfast, which one could select on a daily basis. Breakfast had a wide selection of hot and cold food on a self service basis, from a variety of traditional English to fruit, pancakes and continental. The coffee was very good....

"Great location with great transport connections. Lots of space for a relaxed break. Would have given 5 stars but there were a couple of minor niggles, no bath plug, and it wasn’t clear what the process was for the rubbish at the end of the stay. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Basics in room (bedside light, air conditioning) didn't work. Shower was awful, a mere trickle of water. Omly one flannel provided when there were 2 of us. Bedside table the size of a playing card. Lighting horrible, either off or blazing bright., no dimmers. Restaurant food mediocre and drink prices high. Room layout bsdly designed with not enough space to put stuff and pointless 'office' area which served no useful purpose. Not enough sockets in the room. Iron was cheap and nasty. ...
