Room very small, however it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location for attending a show at the Opera House.

Great!
It was really good it’s just an old hotel that needs a bit of work doing to it
Perfect location close to the Winter Gardens. Currently going through an update which, from the parts already done, will be really good when finished. Nice breakfast and overall great value for money..
All staffing helpful and friendly. Bar and karaoke was great. Shared a room with four other ladies, beds comfortable and room size was good. Bathroom need’s updating but adequate for our needs. Price was good for the two nights and breakfast was lovely. Good stay for a good price. Would stay again.
We had a room for 4 very adiquate clean and spacious, the staff were all amazing helpful and polite , really good quality for money , breakfast was top! 9.5/10

My single room was clean, warm and comfortable. Shower hot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. Great price for one night.
We picked for location as were attending the winter gardens it was perfect round the corner location , also has a lift so was good for my mam , we were on first floor although the room did not look like the picture online which was a triple it was clean but needs some tlc , staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious with fast serving and hot tea which is rare , would book again .
Definitely recommend this Melville hotel, staff friendly, polite & very helpful in information on getting about, specifically areas.
Central to all shops, restaurants etc
& staff excellent
Good banter, that also can make the holiday break
Maggie was very helpful polite, had us laughing & just so friendly like one of the family.
Thank you all for helping to make our weekend stay a very pleasant one
We will definitely be back.
Property had a reception open all night. That bar was open , nice polite and friendly staff.
Mattress on bed could do with an upgrade. Could feel the springs unfortunately.
Room tidy and clean, location was perfect, breakfast was alright, there was a dance competition on and the hotel was full of them. You would think the kids would be having an early night if dancing the next morning but that wasnt the case the parents where steaming in the bar until it closed at half 1 kids running riot and the noise was mental. Might be ok if your room is on a higher level but ours was right next it.
It was close to entertaiment venues and great for shopping.
Rooms need updating, leaking taps and shower head. Poor hygiene in room. It was smelly on arrival. Very dissapointing as we were looking forward to a lovely weekend break.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Mixed place
On arrival was informed they were not allowing pets in future however that was, why i choose the place. Good Central location in Blackpool, Drop off space out front is useful , large place with music as warned in the rooms but strangely not in the corridors or outside but did not go on too late. No Fan in bathroom so plenty of steam. Breakfast went well.
