"Stayed here several times and always had a fantastic experience, couldn’t fault a single thing. Only one very minor point is the white towels were discolored (yellow)"
"The room we stayed in was a family room; unfortunately although it was exceptionally clean, it was very dated. The lobbies showed a desperate need of TLC. The fire doors had holes in which is a serious issue if a fire were to happen. It seems that half of the hotel was refurbished and our half was not.
For three adults and two children, our room was very small and felt at points overcrowded. It would have been a more pleasant experience had we stayed in a more updated and larger room. The pictures advertised were very misleading for the money we paid out.
A positive was the children's entertainment and my grandchildren throughly enjoyed the children's entertainer and the magic show."
"I’ve avoided this hotel in the past and it being also a Britannia hotel it has a reputation as it attracts coach parties, stag and hen parties and old people who have outdated 1950s views towards the lgbtqi + community.
After my Blackpool B&B cancelled my booking because I have disabilities and I’m part of the LGBT community this was the only hotel left as it was Blackpool pride weekend.
An email was sent to check if the hotel was non binary, intersex and lgbt friendly and my booking was confirmed.
Room 153 was run down and dark as there was no view and windows had frosted glass in them as it’s a Britannia hotel it is run down with holes in the wall by electrical sockets .
Room was clean and quiet and had a big bed .
Staff are friendly and use the correct pronouns for non binary people.
This hotel is like a can of cheap beans, useful if your and a budget and don’t mind roughing it ."
"We got a parking spot on the front of the hotel checked 3pm room ok for a few nights , evening meal starter ,main ,plus sweet ,tea coffee served at your table
Evening entertainment was in two different rooms which artists switched around with bingo before hand ,we had good artists every night , breakfast was full english with toast waffles juice etc ,"
