"This was a lovely property. I purposely picked this guest house based on the other reviews but mostly because of the house itself, its history and location. The room was beautiful and updated with every amenity you could ask for. Elmira, our host, left traditional Scottish treats for us as a welcome which I thought was a special touch. She offered cleaning every day if we wanted but had plenty of towels and toiletries available so that service wasn’t necessary since we were out on tours and...

"This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again."

"We stayed in lodge 1, it is in serious need of some tlc and updating. The carpets, sofas should have been upgraded years ago, alongside the kitchen. Just a tired looking lodge now which is disappointing given the fantastic location. The pool is fab, and the Italian restaurant was lovely!"
