Absolutely loved our stay at Cambeth Lodge Guesthouse! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Everything was well organized, and the attention to detail really stood out. Great location and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again!

The owners are the absolute most kind people you could ever meet the room was spotless and absolutely amazing. The onsite gated parking was great. Highly recommend staying here.

Cambeth lodge worst room

I must have been given the worst room. When i arrived there was no one to greet me. The owner's non english speaking mother mimed how to get in. It took her multiple tries & later I found that I was unable to open the stiff, heavy door. The window of the tiny roon was open on arrival. No flyscreen. I questioned whether there were midges. The owner emphatically said there were no midges. I said "if I have to close the window to block out traffic noise & for privacy, then it will be a heatbox ". (Scotland was experiencing a heatwave at the time). She gave me a fan. Trying to sleep with the window open resulted in many large red itchy swollen welts from midge bites. A pharmacist confirmed midge bites & advised anti histamine. The room was next to the large heavy front door, so noise from other guests early in the morning & late at night could be heard, plus the window faced on to the car park so there was noise from that source also & road traffic. The upstairs overhead room had sqeaking floorboards. The pillow was hard. A light in the "bathroom" stayed on so the door had to be closed, resulting in a stale musty damp smell. The "bathroom" was a sliver of cramped space. The smoke alarm emitted flashes similar to strobe approx. every 15secs. The kettle was place on top of a 4ft. high cupboard which was a very unsafe height to pour boiling water into tiny teacups. Breakfast had been mentioned in advertising & reviews but no longer available. Information needs to be updated.

Anche se abbiamo soggiornato qui per una sola notte (come parte di un viaggio on-the-road) , il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto. La camera era spaziosa e molto pulita, dotata di tutti i confort. Menzione speciale per il bagno veramente moderno, impeccabile. Proprietaria molto disponibile.

This was a lovely property, and the innkeepers were just very warm, very easy to talk to, and they were very attentive. I would come here again, if I travel to Inverness, which I would love to do.

My husband and I were visiting Inverness for one night on our trip to Scotland and this was a fabulous stay. We were greeted on arrival with easy check in. The property itself is a beautifully restored old house. The bathroom and shower is spa-like, large space and great location (about 10 min walk from town). We really enjoyed our stay.

Elmira was beyond helpful and sweet. We loved our stay at Cambeth! We stayed for three nights while visiting Inverness from the USA. The room we stayed in was decorated so well it really made us feel welcome and cozy while having plenty of room for our suitcases and sovereigns for our three nights. Would definitely book if in the area again. We felt it was within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. Our average time was about 15 minutes to walk at a fairly average pace. Thank you!

“Room #2”. Would describe the bed as soft yet firm where you don’t sink- so perfect! Would be close to a queen size maybe touch smaller in the USA.

The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, loved staying there while in Inverness. Nice and quiet at night but a short walking distance to city centre as well as easy access to roads for day trips around the highlands and Loch Ness.

Great B&B - though just a B on this trip as the dining room wasn’t available due to construction. Good location though - close enough to walk into the City Center and many pubs and Cafès yet just far enough to be quiet. Comfortable room and friendly staff.
