"We stayed in a family room which was very spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Really quiet and great location in the city. Did not eat or drink in hotel but the bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Overall a great place to stay."

"Room tired. Paid for a premium room, at least expected some flannels. Rug next to bed grubby. Cheap coffee sachets that contained 1/2 teaspoon coffee and tasted disgusting. Breakfast: we had to wait 10 mins for a table. Cereal very cheap quality and no fruit left. Delightful staff but not the best hotel we’ve stayed in !"

"Basic double courtyard rooms. Spacious rooms but standard double beds - though from the indentations on the carpet in mine, a Queen or King resided there before. Even so, the base "flat" sheets did not fit the mattress to the head exposing no protector. Total lack of information in my room (27) that was there in our daughter's (25) regarding wifi access and other info. I had to wash a tea cup in my room that had a sticky residue at the bottom of it and clear lip residue around the rim. No mixer...

"Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant"

"We have no complaints at all it was absolutely amazing food just excellent staff so amazing nothing the bother bedroom was just spot so so clean and gleaming surrounding was beautiful would certainly highly recommended breakfast was amazing to to I don’t think I’ll be eating for the next week so much excellent food 10 out of ten will be back well done xxx"
