Excellent hotel in Durham. Located right on the river bank close to the city centre. Hotel amenities are modern and staff friendly. Rooms in the loft like the junior suite are excellent in size and good value. Only slight let down was the restaurant which was not quite up to the standard as it seemed a bit understaffed resulting in diminished service but it was still adequate.

The location is fantastic. The bed is soft. The pool is super and there is a well equiped gym. Only problem is the changing rooms were dirty. I stay at this hotel because of the gym. Great location with 2 electric charging bays in car park

A delightful hotel, very near the station and all of the attractions of Durham. Polite and attentive staff, and a lovely spa and gym. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious, and we loved it. The only minor problem was that there weren’t a whole lot of hot vegetarian options at breakfast, but that’s really splitting hairs. A remarkable stay overall.

Stayed here before a university move in. I got a complimentary upgrade in room so that I could be near the second rom so had robe and slippers for spa. Comfortable spacious room. Spa very nice but in the morning steam room broken and jacuzzi cold. Gym big with lots of equipment Breakfast excellent. Parking cheaper if you book in advance. Easy walk into town

Didn’t use parking, or have breakfast, The room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. We did use the spa which was also very clean. Location is great planning to go again soon with other family members

Had a wonderful stay.really nice hotel..although I did mention that it was my husband's 80th birthday and mentioned any complimentaries would be greatfully accepted ..there was nothing ever offered..other than that lovely stay..

Positively, the staff were very helpful and room clean; the location (including view over the river) was nice annd convenient for the city centre, and the pool/spa facilities very good. As a woman travelling alone I was less impressed to be given a room with an (unlocked) adjoining door into another room, although the room was changed for me when I asked. Other irritants included fire alarms and power sockets which flashed all night and couldn’t be dimmed and a ‘double’ bed which were two single beds joined with an uncomfortable lump in the middle. Lighting included multiple lights but none bright enough to read by comfortably. Bathroom was clean and acceptable but basic/outdated.

Me and my Husband were only there for one night but everything about our stay was brilliant.staff were very helpful and polite, room was clean and had everything we needed,the pool area was exelant we spent about an hour in there something for everyone's needs at breakfast.we will deffinately use Radison Hotels again .
