The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Accommodation was good. Very clean and spacious the only downside was the lighting in the room was very poor. For some reason we were placed in a disabled room so everything was very low. As we were only staying one night we did not ask to be moved. The sink in the bathroom had no plug and was very lowdown we are tall people so it made washing a bit difficult. There was no light near the mirror so was very difficult to blow my hair or put makeup on as the lighting was very dim. The room was...

"Super Staff, friendly, helpful and were interested in why we were staying. Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged! Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed! We had a lovely time...

"The only problem was that my wife and I are in our Seventies year young, and during the cold spell early March, the room heater did not come on until 18.00pm. We were cold . We did not complain to reception because we know that the heating was timed set to come on."
