"This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this."

I’m not sure what it was but it wasn’t pleasant in the hall ways or in the room I was tempted to leave as others did but I used my OneCash and didn’t want to come out of pocket for a quick one night trip. "The property itself needs a little work. There were stains on the ceiling and it could have been a little bit cleaner (there were pee pee drops on the front of the toilet and the floor needed a good vacuuming). We had to check into the B&B from the next door hotel which seemed a little shady inside. The B&B write up claimed the it was located on the beach. It is not. You have to either walk thru an alley way or cut through the neighboring property to access the beach. The reason I rated the B&B...

"My stay was excellent. My family enjoyed the amenities and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It also helped being centrally located near the riverfront and the close proximity to all the restaurants, bars, shopping and activities. "I made the mistake of booking a room thinking that all the rooms had balconies overlooking the beach, like the main pictures. It turned out that the Double bed room we'd booked was just a small, motel-like room with two beds and one chair and the only window was to the walkway by the door. It was our own fault, and I knew it was non-refundable when I booked it. And neither we nor Expedia could get them to budge with even a partial refund when we left early.
