"This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this."

"It was a beautiful place. Very clean and very historic. Owners were super friendly. Breakfast was so good! The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the location was awesome. The only thing that you need to know is that there are many steps up and there is no elevator. Their staff is more than willing to help, but if you can’t climb steps, that’s something to think about."

"Great location and very charming boutique hotel! At night can get a little loud bec it’s right on the Riverwalk however the hotel provides noise machines and ear buds."

"Clean room, good coffee but we didn’t like having to stand in line for it. Breakfast was good. Nice lemon water in the lobby. Convenient to river st and restaurants and shops. Got to store the luggage early arrival. Used the garage next door since we were not going to use the car while there. Rooftop pool was nice however my friend got a rash from the chlorine. I was fine. Seemed clean, we didn’t have any staff encounters other than check-in which was fine."

I’m not sure what it was but it wasn’t pleasant in the hall ways or in the room I was tempted to leave as others did but I used my OneCash and didn’t want to come out of pocket for a quick one night trip. The a/c leaked pretty bad floor gets super wet. Then the a/c kept wanted to switch to heat so a bit annoying. The pet fee is pretty high and not the same as I had seen on Expedia. "The room was well decorated and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful just like everything else in our room. The best part was the cool rooftop pool area! We had a very nice time there!"

"I love the colonial style all brick and inside was very nice and clean. The people at the front desk were so nice and welcoming. They loved our dog also. Parking was great right in front of the hotel. The breakfast we haven’t had yet but if it is anything like the one we stayed at yesterday it will be great."

"Forsyth Park Inn was excellent from start to finish. The private porch was the standout feature. We spent our evenings sitting out there overlooking Forsyth Park, and we even shared a few bottles of wine out there.
