I like the people and the room was clean. However, asking for a handicap accessible room. it was on the 3rd floor and had a tub. If there was a fire, my dad would not be able to use the elevator and would not be able to get down the stairs in a timely fashion. Also, he is not able to climb into a tub. All handicap accessible rooms should be on the ground floor so that they have an easier time to get out since they will need more time to navigate the hallways and stairs. There also should be more zero entry showers.

I showed up to check in at 7:10pm on Friday 4/26 and didn’t even feel safe to get out of my car. I didn’t stay there. There were cars n people in the parking lot doing very odd, suspicious behavior, one man in a black truck, dark windows in the far back corner was just sitting and watching people. The hotel is behind 3 vacant buildings, u can barely find it. If I felt that unsafe in the daytime on a bright sunny day…what is it like at night? No way! I refuse.

Dear Melissa,Thank you for taking the time to respond to our survey. I assure you that the property is very safe. It was built 5 years ago. The 3 buildings you mentioned are businesses that are open. It is actually a strip mall and is open during normal business hours. There are restaurants that are open until 10pm in that strip mall. We do have cameras on the property and have had no issues in the past.

Our stay was great. Everyone was working who was employed there. Very friendly. Our Desk person was there when we checked in and she was back when we checked out! She is Great there!!

staff were great. room spacious and clean. very comfortable breakfast was disappointing. neighborhood seemed a bit concerning (appears to be a camp of some sort in the woods behind the hotel) didnt see anyone there or have any troubles though.

Hotel and property was great. Issue was with other guests and excessive noise. Staff did their best to deal with it, guests were uncooperative.

Dear Carl,We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. I assure you, staff did give warnings, move the guest and advise guest that they will be asked to leave if they did not follow house rules after which they did finally adhere to. It was a difficult process to make the guest understand but they finally did as you yourself mentioned to the manager and witnessed the staff member talking to the guest.

Property is very clean. Staff was so helpful and kind. Hotel looks new and in great shape. No complaints at all. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Halls had noise deadening carpet. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Super clean. We reminded front desk about our late check out 2 times but they came up and banged on our door and basically gave us 20 minutes to grab our stuff.

For the price I paid, I felt I really could’ve done much better. I won’t be returning. The staff was helpful, but I was unimpressed. The couch in my room was stained, dressers scratched and gouged, the lamp shade was so beat up that when it turned on, the crinkles were illuminated and it looked like a child attacked it with a pen. The clock was off by hours, there were crumbs in all my drawers, passive aggressive anti-theft signage, and a gap under the door so big that i somehow accidentally slipped a rolled hand towel through it by accident trying to block the light and sound. None of this is anything that can be remedied by calling the front desk, so I was content to take it to my grave. BUT THEN, at 9:45, after breakfast (eggs so overcooked they were grey in spots, biscuits so hard it broke the prong off my plastic fork, no joke) I couldn’t get into my room. I called and they told me to come to the front desk. I wasn’t the only one; I informed another gentleman struggling with his door that he should probably follow me. They asked for my room number and re-coded my key. It didn’t work a second time. I came back down and got a new key and received an escort upstairs in case that didn’t work (good thinking, why didn’t we do that the first time). So much for my half hour nap after breakfast as planned. Other hotels are cheaper and nicer. Aaron and the female staff member who assisted me probably both need a raise, but I’d rather see them at an better hotel. DONT STAY HERE

I liked everything about this property from the time I checked-in and the time I checked out. Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Very close to IU Bloomington, approximately 2 miles drive. I would definitely stay in the future.
