"I've stayed at the Sakura Inn on multiple occasions. It is centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and cities in the San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley. The current owners seem indifferent to basic guestroom maintenance. To be specific, I took photos of a loose faucet and a broken door seal, and showed them to the innkeeper. She promised to share my concerns with her husband. During my stay, no one came to inspect my room. On past stays, everything was in good working order and...

"I personally like no service during my stay. I didn't have to put don't bother sign up, just asked and they complied. Staff is super nice and great area. I stayed in the same room I did last year. It's clean and has a TV with cable. Rather large dresser....with wide / low top...great for travelers. It might be a "dated" paint/ decor...but it's nice. No breakfast, staff is always available. "

"The outside of this hotel looks cute (and simple) enough, but the room I stayed in smelled gross (like old cigarettes masked by some sort of air freshener or spray). The carpet was likely installed in the 90s, which seems unsanitary. The bathroom towels seemed ancient. I did not use the shower because I was so put off by the bathroom. "Very good location near downtown Glendale with great shopping and restaurants in walking distance. They have a nice breakfast. Valet parking is a little expensive but there lower price public parking near by. I will stay there again."
