What a lovely stay! It’s so close to the beach and a short walk from the town centre. The Regis lodge was warm and cosy with lots of fun snacks provided too. Parking was easy on the forecourt and staff were very communicative. Would definitely recommend.

It's a Guest house, so don't expect hotel standards, having said that it room was very clean with all you need for a short stay although a bit on the small side for a double. Located about a 10 minute walk from shops/ restaurants with limited parking, although free parking just round the corner. This was our 2nd time straying here, so can't be bad

Had a really nice overnight stay. Room was clean and spacious. Had a fridge and microwave in too. Bed was comfy, and the owners are very friendy and welcoming. There is a small free car park outside, but we noted if this was full there is a pay car park directly opposite we could use. They provide a nice basic breakfast of buns and Tea cakes!. If you want a hot breakfast there is a food shack 2 min walk away on the Beech front and places in town about 15 min walk away for food, which they kindly leave a folder in your room to where they are. Excellent budget price stay.

Good value for money for room-only accommodation

We booked this accommodation for a 1-night stay on a room-only basis. The owner was very helpful when we checked in. The room was well equipped with tea/coffee facilities and really nice biscuits & nibbles were provided. The property has been recently refurbished, so everything is clean, fresh, comfortable and in good working order. There are no bedrooms on the ground floor, so it is necessary to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. There was a free parking bay available outside the front of the property, when we arrived, so that was great for us. The property is well located near the promenade and the town centre for eating places and bus routes. Good value for money.

We saw the proprietor when we arrived at the property. He said our room was ready, although we were very early. My partner was delighted with the box of breakfast goodies. The fridge and microwave were welcome extras.. Clean linen, big room, great locality. No negative points at all.

Had everything we needed. Room small but only for one night. Tea and snacks provided. Bed comfortable. Quiet and just round corner to sea. Grest value for money. Check in easy snd parked in front.
