"The room was clean. Sink faucet in main area of our room was very loose. Sponge to wash dishes was used and filthy. Threw the sponge out and asked for another only for it to be replaced with another used one. Breakfast was hot but not the tastiest. Overall though, the price was reasonable for the room. "

"From the moment we arrived, we felt we were at a magical hotel that was so warm and cozy. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed staying there. The room had dishware to use and you get a daily refresh. (No seafood allowed.) Breakfast is in a very cozy dining room. We would have preferred it open earlier but it is worth waiting for. "Easy to get to tourist areas & downtown, reception was friendly & helpful from where to eat, how to get u-ride drivers when we needed, we axtually extended out stay an extra day before going back to Halifax. Hats off to Kerstine, she went over & above to make our stay great. "

"The efficiency had everything you need. I was a single and more than I needed but the price was good. The only down fall is that I am a senior. I asked for a downstairs room and said it was not possible. I said I could do the stairs but not with luggage so they carried them up for me. It was very quiet. With the 2 rooms. It would be good with children too. And the playground."
