"We wish we could have stayed longer! We arrived late at night after our travel plans were delayed and Jan was so kind and accommodating and stayed up late to make sure we checked in. She even upgraded our room and offered us refreshments. The whole building is charming, with tasteful decor. "The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."
