"It definitely has an old world charm about it with modern conveniences like the bathrooms were up-to-date and spacious showers. Keep in mind if you are visiting with lots of luggage, you might have a hard time with the staircase. It’s a beautiful winding staircase, and I unfortunately brought a big heavy suitcase. "Very friendly staff, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Only challenge is an accurate understanding of meeting arrangements to gain initial entry: Staff was waiting inside, unbeknownst to us, whilewe were waiting outside ! Instructions should stress “ring doorbell on arrival”, and provide location, since it’s a little hard to find, especially in the dark. But otherwise a truly lovely choice in Bordeaux."
