Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough
10/10 Excellent
"This is a nice business style hotel on the outskirts of Peterborough. It is very close to the A1 which was handy as we arrived late. It also has air conditioning which was very nice in the heat. Good parking though you do pay extra for this. Room service was good and staff were very nice. I would stay again."

"Peaceful location and plenty space in the family room. The children loved the swimming pools. The breakfast was really good as well. Special thank you to the Hotel Manager. He was very considerate and wanted to make sure we enjoy our stay."

The Milestone Hotel, Peterborough (Cambridgeshire), Sure Collection by Best Western

"I have stayed at the hotel several times when travelling between the North of England and the South. Its is a "no bells or whistles" hotel but has everything I want for a stop over without spending a fortune. Easy car parking, comfortable bed, everything clean, bar with decent selection and not over priced, basic evening meal menu for bite to eat if needed. All rooms on two floors so not many stairs (plenty of ground floor rooms). Shower is over bath in all rooms ive stayed at which is a bit of a bug bear with me as I don't see the need for a bath in every room. The hotel was quiet on this stay (normally has a few people in the bar and at breakfast), but breakfast was as plentiful as ever with everything you would want and more than I would expect from a budget hotel. I've stayed many times before and will continue to stay when I want to break my journey when travelling past Peterborough."

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

"Lovely place, we had a lake view room and it was beautiful, room 513. From our balcony we could see a colony of young housemartins, who were nesting under the eves, flying around and back to their nests, just lovely. My husband has problems walking, we called reception to ask if the buggy could pick him up and it was there within minutes. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited, but we found something we liked. Breakfast had plenty of choice, however for me, the eggs were overdone and the bacon was streaky. Overall, a lovely weekend and a beautiful place to stay."

The Barn Hotel & Spa

"Although the hotel is a little 'tired', the facilities with the pool and jacuzzi etc are a welcome treat, and I have no hesitation to come back again. The staff are very helpful and they accommodated my request for a ground floor room, which I appreciated. My superior room was very dated decor wise, and smaller than the last one I had at this hotel, but the bed was comfy and the corner whirlpool bath was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was OK, a reasonable choice, but they have stopped offering fruit, or bagels, or philadelphia pots .. which used to be my 'go to' choice. Lunch and evening meals offer good sized portions and are very nice (if a little expensive). Overall a great stay, whilst the pool is there I will be back."
