"Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday."

"Reception is the bar! Very pleasant and patient staff. Pricey evening meal, but a nice restaurant with a good choice on the menu. Nice gardens including a giant chess set - all very well kept. Big car park. Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, but I didn't try the shower. Tassimo coffee machine. Great breakfast menu - I had steak and eggs for no supplement, which was a lovely surprise, thanks. I don't travel down this neck of the woods very often, but I'd stay again having grabbed...

"I had a single room which was well laid out with an excellent on-suite. The bar was well stocked with very good hot bar snacks. My only negative was that they did not have draft beer. There is a large screen tv. The staff were attentive and very professional. I will stay here again if I'm in Bedford. I"

"I’ve stayed at Hotel La Tour twice now. The good: Clean, modern, hotel feels premium. The Bad: Staff are rude, unhelpful, amenities in room are limited and not the best e.g shampoo/ Shower gel both labelled as shower gel, kettle had visible limescale. But easily the worst thing is the staff and their attitude. I appreciate they’re probably busy, but it just felt like a chore to try and talk to them. "This is an events hotel with a very large number of guests. I had a room in the Paddocks which is a building outside the main hotel. The rooms have No Aircon, the windows barely open due to safety catches. The temperature in the room was unbearable. The fan which was suppose to help was of very poor quality and did nothing to improve things! It was so bad I assumed it was broken, but after maintenance came out they confirmed it was just a rubbish fan . The rooms also had very poor sound...
