"Clean and affordable, great location "

"This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Right near the coastal walkway and walking distance to the park. Our suite was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. If you need to park a vehicle it's a good idea to reserve a spot ahead of time. We didn't, but luckily there were two spots left. Lastly, Janine at reception is an absolute gem!"

"Parking and security excellent. Shopping ex cellent just across the road and takeaway foods a 2 minute walk Centrecity and town centre less than a 5 minte walk. A gr8t selection of restaurants and cafes. Supermarkets PaknSave New World The Warehouse even closer."

"Misleading advertising by Millennium hotels, I paid extra to upgrade to a sea view and all i got was the driveway and the steel earthquake proofing beam. Out of all the rooms on this side of the hotel I got the only one without a balcony. Expedia VIP hotels are a class above this grade and it shouldn't be advertised as a credit to spend as it's only applicable in the terribly run down restaurant. I would like to say the staff are good and there are no issues with their service. "

"The motel was in a great location, right across the road from two supermarkets down the road from some fast food restaurants. The unit we had was right next to a busy road so this is probably not the best place if you are a light sleeper as I could hear the cars going past and all the trucks backing and unloading at the supermarkets. The room was clean and had everything needed for eating."

"Great location, literally across the road from the architectural marvel, the Govett Brewster gallery and just a few minutes walk to the waterfront, the Len Lye Wind Wand and the Puke Ariki Museum. Lots of restaurants and cafes just a short stroll away. The studio units are quite small and have minimal kitchen facilities if that matters (it didn’t to me), but they have all the essentials.
