"Under Construction The whole property is/was being renovated at the time of our stay. As such, The pool & patio area were closed, there was a lot of noise during working hours and the hallway by our room was quite dirty. The shower in our room was not put together right, so there was only a hand-held shower and it was covered in plaster dust. The breakfast was decent and the dining area was very nice, though one of the TVs was dying. Most of the staff was delightful while some seemed out of place in the hospitality industry. We didn't have any trouble parking and always felt safe. Plenty of restaurant options within walking distance and others nearby. We wouldn't mind staying here again, but not until the construction is finished. Note: the pool under construction was disclosed before we booked, but not the greater construction project. "

"Property is not well kept. Trash overflowing garbage cans. Signficant stains in hallway and room carpeting. Draperies torn and mechanisms broken. Debris on carpeting in room. Sparse furnishings and kitchenware. It is close to shopping."

"I was pleasantly surprised as Hyatt Place Jacksonville had a somewhat posh air about it (the lobby decor, outside deck on the lake and the hotel room). I would absolutely stay there again! It did not disappoint."

"Room was dirty, bed and pillows had stains. Counter top was nasty. Bath towels had stains in them. And I am still waiting on my refund. "

"Everything was great. However, they need to have someone clean the outside sitting area. I sat out every night for a bit and the tables were never cleaned. Had a bit of a tough time with one of the tvs, but I figured it out!!. I'll definitely stay again."
