"My family and I had a great time there. It is clean, the kitchen had more than enough cooking utensils, the appliances were in good working order, and it was incredibly cozy. We had three adults, two teenagers, and a dog, and yet it felt incredibly spacious. We left an hour before it started snowing, so we’re hoping to redo this trip next winter. At least we know where we’ll be staying. :)"

"I booked a stay just for 1 night and confirmed everything. Got the receipt, cabin number, door code. Etc, early the day of the check in. Drove up there to find out that they double booked our stay and could not accommodate us. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies with us to find out that we can’t stay to a cabin that we wanted. I still appreciated the offers of atleast getting us alternative stay to their property or other properties, but it’s just really inconvenient and waste of time not having what...

"We were greeted warmly by the staff despite being 4-days on the PCT and carrying some of it with us. 😄 The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion were high quality. I would absolutely recommend the Vintage Lakeside Inn to other PCT hikers looking for a break in Big Bear."

"First off, this property is in transition from an old hotel to an updated one. We saw painting in progress. The lobby has a great vintage vibe as was the design of the microwave and fridge in our room. Our overall experience was not great though. Our room shared a wall with another and we heard them and their t v into the early morning hours. The shower was clean but took TEN minutes to get hot. Two towels and one washcloth was provided for a two night stay. The bed was a other issue and...

"Old motel. Dated but I knew that when I made reservations. Needed help to get the heater and the TV going but they sent someone right away and then no further issues with them after that. Nice location. Good for a one night stay. Pool was heated which was a nice surprise for this early in the season."
