"I mean, it was an inexpensive hotel option off the side of the divided highway I booked last minute. It was relatively clean, but you could see where maintenance corners had been cut (wall patches, uneven towel rack, floor scratches where new dresser was dragged in, etc.). At the end of the day, the staff was nice, the location was good, the lights and water worked, and it was pretty clean. All things considered, it was fine for the price, but I'm sure you could do better."

"We stayed at Days Hotel by Wyndham in Toms River for 4 nights. A neat surprise waited for folks who haven't had a bathtub for a while! The bathroom and the furnishings definitely came from another era, I guess the 1950s. Fortunately a shower head was added to the bathtub. Definitely a plus for nostalgic folks! The sink was small, the faucet took a while to figure out how to work it. I finally remembered from my time half a century ago. The toilet was cute: VERY low; probably to accommodate...
