"We had a lovely overnight stay at the Angus Hotel. Great value for money, with friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to book your swimming slot in advance, as the pool gets very busy. The restaurant closes between 5-6pm, so we missed the chance to eat there, but the chippy across the road was excellent. As it’s an older building, the floors can be quite creaky, but overall we really enjoyed our stay."

"Carpets in bedroom stained in multiple areas. Got assigned a handicap room where the shower was just the bathroom floor. Bathroom floor was dirty. Floor drain had sounds coming from it when other guests were using showers. Walks were not sound proof. No replaced toilet paper or tissues. Hordes of girls running around the hotel slamming doors, running through the hallways with no adult supervision. We had a room full of girls next door with the door open slamming the door over and over. Where...

Only complaint was when on the second day we requested vegetarian sausages, these did not come and when we asked about them we were told by a staff member that they dont know where they are or if they will come after 40 mins and to try again tomorrow. "The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. The food at the Cairns restaurant for dinner was nice but the service was a bit disjointed. There was a lot of staff but still took a while...

Die Zahnputzbecher waren total dreckig, die Duschamatur sichtbar grünlich keimig am Rand, die Halterung für das Duschzeug total verrostet. Das Zimmer hat keinen Kühlschrank und wird sehr warm, trotz offenem Fenster. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank und keinen Fahrstuhl. Das Frühstück ist typisch englisch und schmeckt; es ist jeden Tag gleich."
