Surrounded by the natural beauty of Barbados, The Chi House is peaceful, serene, and thoughtfully designed. Every corner feels intentional and calming, making it the perfect space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Christy was truly amazing—so personable, kind, and genuinely warm. Her hospitality made me feel completely at ease, and it was clear how much care and love she puts into creating a meaningful experience for her guests. One of the highlights of my visit was creating a vision board, which made the experience even more special. It was such a thoughtful and inspiring activity that allowed space for reflection, creativity, and intention-setting in such a beautiful environment. It felt empowering and uplifting to take that time in such a peaceful place. Christy is a great host. She is very welcoming and attentive. The property is in a nice quiet part of town but not far from the beach and stores. I enjoyed laying in the hammock and walking through the beautiful, huge garden. It had everything I needed for a great stay. I didn't want to leave but I will be back.

Barbados Chi Guest House was an excellent stay from start to finish. To begin, the guest house is centrally located in the diplomatic area of "B-Town". Being steps away from embassies and other government buildings was an excellent start to seeing the local historic treasures. As a traveller who was looking for a natural experience entwined with the Bajans, the 5 minute walk to the bus and 20 minute walk to Carlyle Bay became central to my exploration of Barbados via bus/taxi. Secondly, the guest house is beautifully nestled on a parcel that allows for patio sunrises looking into the expansive natural garden the hosts have in the yard. Next, the hosts were fantastic. I was a solo traveller and from my original arrival till departure, they were full of courtesy, suggestions for locations, and how to travel to the planned spots, all while quietly tending their garden. My welcome included the host taking me down to Carlyle bay for the evening, taking her time to welcome me to Barbados, while helping me get comfortable with the week of exploring the island on foot i had planned. They even fixed a blown shower head seal the same day I informed them of the issue. Christy and Victor (aka Box) will be my first call for my next trip to Barbados, when I return to take in my missing site explorations. My next trip will include friends, so remember that they can accommodate large groups >10 as well.

Ich musste 140 USd für eigenes Badezimmer nachbezahlen. 50 USD für Zimmerreinugung!!!! 5 USD pro Stunde für späteres Ankunft. Keine Rezeption…. Wände waren Schmutz,Decke auch. Ich wurde in der Nacht total am Körper gebissen… Bettwanzen in der Matratze???? Würmer im Zimner,in der Dusche. Das Zimner wurde eine Woche lang nicht gereinigt,nicht mall der Abfall entsorgt.. Wir mussten warten auf den Transfer zum Flughafen auf einer Verande (nicht im Zimmer,was versprochen wurde),warten Auch für das musste ich 5 USD pro Stunde bezahlen. Nur Horror. Ich könnte die Fotos von unserem „luksus Apartment senden“ Kein Essen dort. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe,kein Restaurant. Mit dem Taxi bin ich zum Einkaufszentrum gefahren um etwas zum Essen einzukaufen. Das Essen war vom Kühlschrank verschwunden…. Wenn ich kann Brott von zuhause mitgenommen hätte,währen ich und mein Sohn verhungern!!!! Der Strand war auch 35 Gehminuten,nicht wie angegeben 15 Minuten entfernt. Nur dort waren Restaurants und nur dort haben wir einmal pro Tag gegessen. Horror!!! Ich rate Allen diesen Aufenthalt nicht zu buchen!!!!! Auch ein großer Hund ständig war im Garten., welcher eingeblig blind war und nicht”beissen kann” Ich hatte Angst….!!!! Ich Ratte Allen dieser Unterkunft nicht zu buchen!!!!!

My stay at Chi's Guesthouse was quite comfortable. It offered a little snippet into Barbadian culture, as it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The area is also safe, so it's perfect for early morning walks. There's also a garden, and the host is very friendly.

was not great... 90s outdated fridge that did not freeze or keep food from spoiling... cost of paying for a/c use was not attractive. bathroom toilet did not flush well... host was hungry for me to stay more days... heck no!

I had a great time at Barbados CHI guest house and the hostess Christy was a delight. The location is perfect - an easy walk or minivan ride to the beach. The gardens were beautiful creating a peaceful atmosphere and Christy is a actual master gardener. I loved to hear the singing frogs at night and the various birds during the day.
