"Not worth the money. This hotel gets very little maintenance from what we observed. A few things didn't work like the sidewalk lights leading to the Castle view restaurant. You walk at night in pitch dark. You need to use the flashlight on your phone to ensure you don't trip, it's so dark. According to staff, lights have not been working for months. For wine they show 4 different kinds of wine available in both red and white but they only keep 2 of each on stock and not even the ones listed on...

"Staff were welcoming enough but generally indifferent, little real rapport, interaction or interest in the customer. Food; very poor, hygiene questionable with pidgeons hopping from table to table in the open areas. Pool was reasonable but all the sun beds were ‘taken’ by 08.30hrs. Cramped. "

"I don't like to leave negative reviews for hotels. I feel like you can't please everyone all the time. However, I had to make an exception for this one. "Staff was wonderful, rooms were very clean"

"We stayed for 3 nights. There was a little inconvenience for getting our room when we got there. But overall, we got a clean room, so we were happy for that reason. Beach was not swimmable during our stay, but the pools were opened. Staff are helpful during our stay. "

" Nice room, everyone was so nice and helpful only problem was the jacuzzi was not working right. Way too hot then wouldn’t turn on then way too hot like 110 degrees and we couldn’t get it to change. We only got to use it once "

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay here and am glad I stayed elsewhere on the island for the majority of my time in Barbados. The rooms here felt like jail cells, not one piece of art, no hot water and no mirror above the sink in the bathroom. There was also no fridge for leftovers but a stove? "The soco hotel staff were amazing,Zack, Shane, Terry, Trudie and all the waitresses made our stay special. Please tell the chefs their food was fantastic every day. The small sandy beach with crystal clear water was only a foot step away. The bus stop right at the front of the property makes getting around so easy. 100% recommend this hotel for an ideal introduction to Barbados."

"I loved my stay at Divi and can’t say enough good things. The beach area is amazing, the rooms are spacious, the grounds area is beautiful, even the lobby is nice to sip a cocktail while we waited for a taxi. Very walkable to everything and the onsite market and restaurant were super convenient. The breakfast had made to order eggs which was great also. Will definitely stay here again when I come back. "
