"First of all when renting the hotel and I called the lady and I asked for smoking she said no smoking? You pay $100 deposit and if it smells like smoke, she said I wasn’t gonna get my deposit back a little that she knows. "OK, first the good stuff. This was our second stay, for 3 nights, and the hotel is really well located, walking distance to pretty much everywhere you would expect. "No microwave, cold pool, elevators broke people got trapped we climbed so many stairs. A homeless man lived in the alley you had walk through to travel. The ceilings were just concrete with weird chalk on them the Window covering gets stuck when you use it we had to put it on track to use it. When you call on the room phone for service you talk to an automated machine for awhile, "

"I stayed for a quick work event in the Chicago area. This hotel was everything I needed it to be. It was super clean, updated, beds were comfortable and the staff was great. I would come back again and stay with my family. "

"Nice lobby and appreciated the cold drinks. Room was ok, bed was comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Our welcome chocolates were previously used!!! One missing and another had a bite out of it! (They did give us new chocolates) Location was great, parking expensive but it seems to be pricey everywhere."

"We love the Palmer House! This is our “go to” hotel when we travel to Chicago. It is close to theaters, concert halls, Michigan Ave with museums, restaurants, parks, etc. The hotel lobby is incredible! A great place to relax, have a beverage, people watch, and enjoy. The room we recently stayed in was beautiful! We were surprised with a suite and so much room to enjoy."
