The Four Winds was excellent….wide open clean casino, good choice of restaurants, easy and friendly check-in, comfortable and quiet rooms with an upscale feel. "Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. Much better than a typical hotel version. I’d caution using suite 10 for more than two people. The sleeper was what you’d expect a sleeper to be - not comfortable! The bed is amazing though. "We had a very nice stay; great location, lovely and friendly hotel. Our only issues were that there were no black out shades and curtains that were not sized correctly to cover the windows/patio door so a lot of light came in in the morning. Also we could hear everything in the room above ours. That said, we liked the concept of the hotel and it was very convenient."

"Arrived at 4:30pm and tucked into a great room in the Main building. Grabbed a bite out and came back to relax. I had a hectic week at work and it was so good to sleep so soundly- 10pm to 7am straight through, which I never do. Lovely balcony off the room that I would have loved to use if the weather was a bit nicer. Great stay, highly recommend. "

"We stayed at the River House at the Morris Estate for three nights with friends. It’s an amazing place and was absolutely gorgeous. It is a hidden gem in Niles, Michigan. We had a beautiful, clean suite overlooking the river. We spent lots of time at the outside fire pit and the fireplace inside and also walked the many trails on the estate. The breakfasts were delicious and every employee we met was kind, friendly and informative. We plan to return next year!"
