"Beware the area is very confronting! Heavy drug use everywhere! You do not feel safe in the area at all!
The staff barely speak English . The check-in process is very clunky, especially when having to use Google Translate to communicate. 2 nights not good value at all .
The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the linen and towels are fresh and new.
Better to stay in a hotel, not in that area of gastown. Vancouver needs to clean up their drug problem."

"The Keefer hotel was a unique experience in that there is no on-site front desk; all the communication with staff occurs remotely. That being said, there did appear to be a security guard available 24/7 and housecleaning was present in the mornings. The one-bedroom apartment in which we stayed was very clean and new, and I liked that we had a four-person dining room table. The only frustration was that the stovetop was pretty impossible to figure out without directions. I tried to heat water in...

"Clean unit. Beautiful views. Assigned parking is down a steep hill. Check in at the office as you come into Tofino. The office is not at the property. Easy to get keys and check out. Kitchen is nicely stocked. Fire place is nice for colder days. We had quiet neighbours. "

"Easy, contact-less check-in. Large 1-bedroom apartment, well-equipped kitchen. Parking is right behind the building. 3 blocks to English Bay shore, 1 block to shopping and restaurants, quiet neighborhood. I'd stay there again."
