It took 2 hours to get our room. Nishra Patel said she couldn’t find the reservation. She called Krishna Rita the owner who could be heard screaming at her that she hadn’t received payment so not to give me a room. Nishra called Expedia who refused to talk to me on speaker phone but required me to call them directly. After being on hold for an extensive amount of time Expedia explained to Nishra how to transfer the payment that was made from my card on January 16th to their account. When we finally got to our room the tv didn’t work and it was freezing. The owner showed up, couldn’t fix the tv and had her manager on the phone who couldn’t explain how to fix it. We were moved to another room. The next room was filthy, there were large holes in the wall next to the HVAC unit and the heat didn’t work. I had a space heater delivered from WalMart. Our first room was still open so I grabbed the blankets from the bed and my elderly Dad and I slept in our coats. We noticed that there were no other occupants on our side of the building. The owner had changed her franchise from OYO to Americas Best Inn but hadn’t updated her system. I had to do all of the work to figure out the issue. At this time I want a full refund.
