"Brand new hotel. Comfortable and clean room. We loved the design. Location very convenient for visiting the south coast of Iceland. Amazing views of the northern lights from the hotel (area is dark enough to see them really well). Breakfast was fairly simple in options but the quality of the available food was really good. Coffee could be improved. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The Garage was my absolute favorite hotel that we stayed in. The Family that owns the farm were wonderful and even baked us cakes. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. They also had little booklets in the rooms that told us other places to check out. Loved it!"

"Nice hotel which is reasonably close to the airport. Shuttle service (one way) from the hotel to the airport is a bonus. Too bad there's no shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Not sure why. Dinner at the restaurant was good, and is the only dining option available. We didn't see any restaurants within walking distance. Our only complaint is that our room was very warm even with the window opened and the thermostat turned OFF. We couldn't understand why, since this is a first floor room....

Only thing I messaged them the day before the stay because they didn’t send the code for my pod I booked, but they did respond the day off the stay which was a little nerve racking seeing all the reviews about this. "Clean room. Nice breakfast. Pretty location. Staff was nice. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night a couple of times and staff was no where to be seen for what felt like a long time. It was faulty not a fire. It was a bit frustrating at 3am. Nothing was mentioned the next morning. I would think a discount would have been given or an apology but nothing. "

"We stayed in the family room with the priate bathroom. Its on the first floor and was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. Its right next to the kitchen, but its alsp on the ground floor so you may hear some noise from the upstairs guests. This guesthouse is right next to Gott, which is a FABULOUS restaurant at which we dined for both lunch and dinner. It's within a few blocks of a pharmacy and one of the hiking trailheads. "
