"We really enjoyed our stay in Bacpackers Island! The beautiful beach was breathtakingly beautiful and overall feeling very peaceful. This is a new family business and that's why there are no many reviews yet. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Food was excellent too! There are three shared toilets that were in very good condition and three outdoor showers. The beach is great for swimming and snorkeling. Thank you for great party at New Year's Eve! We will never forget this...

"Everything was perfect! Only comment that we have is that going in to the property is annoying. Not their fault but the government (talk about local and national government corruption). The road going in is all muddy. We just felt bad for the tricycle drivers/hotel staff because of the road situation but still they were too nice and gave their best serving the guests. Would def recommend still!"

"This is a great hostel. Very clean, right on the beach, incredible service. It did get rowdy at night, but was not a trashy vibe at all - fine if you were not trying to party. We are a couple in our 30s and enjoyed ourselves."

"Overall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...

"Despite the swimming pool being renovated and our stay was in the middle of two typhoons (Tino and Uwan), room/amenities and staff were overwhelmingly attentive, accommodating and helpful. Apart from taking a private tour from Palawena (island hopping), we were also able to visit the Miniloc and Pangulasian islands during our stay. "The property is at the middle of nowhere. It is a really nice place but the roads going there from the airport is terrible. It is very rough road, nothing to do , it is at the middle of farm land. At night , no security, no on call staff to assist for emergencies. We had a leak in the bathroom closer to 10 pm - no one showed up to help us fix the problem."
