Room was large, modern, comfortable and well appointed with beverage kit, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful, and leisure facilities - gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi - were outstanding. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and returning next week."

"The hotel was lovely with some good old character and a real country pub feel about in the bar and terrace area. The staff were very nice & professional at all times and nothing seemed to be a problem for them when asked for or of them. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection & choice apart from Black Pudding (LOL). The only criticisms that I have are, being in room 45, the shower was pretty awkward to use because of where the shower head is mounted and had to position ourselves awkwardly...

Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care."
