"This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. There is ample seating outside which is great on a summers day,The grounds are kept beautifully. The hotel is an old building, unfortunately no air conditioning in the bedrooms due to the age of the hotel, but fans were provided, as we visited on the hottest day of the year. "We have reported a fridge problem in our room as soon we arrived. The receptionist mentioned that the maintenance team has already left but someone will come and have a look. Noone came even though i have enquired twice again. Each time i was told that a person will come to check the fridge as soon as they finish in a different room. "I had a great stay at the hotel for a wedding. The room was huge and the beautifully designed. I really liked the various lighting and the room had lots of mirrors. Staff were great and friendly; I asked for green tea teabags and staff bought them to my room quickly."
