"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. "The hotel and the rooms are very beautiful, and it’s a great place for a relaxing “beach and pool” vacation. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was very nice. The cleanliness was reasonable, but we had to ask several times before the room was properly cleaned. The food is average. The breakfast is quite basic and the prices are high. The same applies to most food products in the area. If you plan to cook during your stay, it’s recommended to bring groceries from the city in advance."
