"As an older property, I was a little worried pulling up that the outside had been freshened up but the rooms wouldn’t be well-maintained. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a mix of the basics, with the coffee machine being the shining star for a large variety of selections. The quality of the room and bed were great and updated bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again."

"Muy cómodo y con fácil acceso al centro. Parada de autobús en la esquina. Lugar tranquilo, no tuvimos ruido en lo absoluto. No nos hicieron las camas un día pero bueno, tampoco es para enojarse. El aire acondicionado es un poco ruidoso pero lo apagamos por la noche porque no hacía tanto calor. Lugar asequible!"

"Pictures on website did not match reality. Motel room had been updated in the cheapest way possible. Example door knob of closet was stuck on and came off the door when I opened the it. Toilet paper holder was stuck on the side of a cabinet. Outside looked run down and most people appeared to be permanent residents."

"Stayed here one night for work. The room was clean and had the usual amenities, including a full bathtub and refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable.
The only negative thing was the hot tub was small and felt very high in chlorine (which is better than the alternative) - burned my eyes. Was only in for about 15 minutes. Very minor complaint, good value for the stay. One recommendation would be for robes in the room making the trek to the pool a little nicer. Will stay again."

"I stayed at Hotel Zed with a friend for a girls trip and it was awesome. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They let us check in early, which was so helpful since we were on an early flight. The ability to text message the lobby was so convenient and they were always super responsive. We were reluctant to stay at a hotel outside of downtown but the location was super easy to navigate to a cool restaurant or the wharf with a quick Uber ride. Thank you Hotel Zed!!!"

"Room was clean but for the almost $400/night it was definitely underwhelming, VERY old and the amenities in the rooms were not worth $400.
We arrived to almost deafening music from the lounge/bar, so loud you could barely hear the clerk!!! This continued until late into the evening so be aware if you’re looking for peace and quiet or on a business trip and need to work in the morning.
Best and only thing that can be said is the room was clean."

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view.
The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now.
For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home.
I won’t return"

"The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, even though we couldn't get the T.V. to work, (we are not at all technical). Big bonus being dog friendly.
The free breakfast was really nice with waffles, sausages, eggs, muffins and yogurt. And we had an upgrade to a king size bed! We will definately recoment THe Waddling Dog, and we will be back!"

"Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!"
