"Lovely welcome at The Queens by the Receptionist. Hotel car park makes such a difference in busy Penzance. Very impressed by our sea-view room on first floor. Delicious breakfast the following morning. The 11am checkout gave us extra time. Such a lovely atmosphere at this hotel. Will come here again. "

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"

"I like the character and location of the property and the staff are doing the best that they can. The property is dated and in need of investment. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner (hoovering the carpet which did not seem to happen during my stay) and the bedding did not fit the mattress. The staff were kind and helpful though some better manners from certain bar staff would have gone a long way. The food was great."

Seaview is very limited in general from this property but lovely gardens make up for this. My father is in his 80s and managed ok, but to say this property is likely not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs and it's all built into a hillside. "Room we had had a beautiful sea view, the bathroom was lovely and roomy. Unfortunately the plugs in the sink and bath did not hold the water in. The breakfast menu was a bit of a joke, they were trying to be a bit a la carte which unfortunately didn't pay off. The toaster didn't work and from one day to the next the menu changed. "Very accommodating staff, initial room was very nice but extremely warm (due to the heatwave). Reception was very accommodating and kindly upgraded us to a cooler room! Breakfast service was a bit slow. Overall ambience of the hotel was very beautiful."

"I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....
