Country Hideaway

Place is off the beaten track. Very quiet and country like location. Just you and the wilderness. Few kangaroos running around in the night. So, need to be careful driving at night. Room is spacious. WiFi was a bit weak/slow. Breakfast was good. Very friendly staff and helpful too in suggesting things to do and places to visit. My only negative view is that the price is a bit steep.

Quiet country rest, minutes from everything

Anja is such a lovely host. Friendly and serves up a magnificent breakfast each morning. The homestead is tucked away in the bush, where the only noise is the chorus of birds!

B&B zonder ontbijt

Dit is een B&B zonder B. Het ontbijt is NIET bij de prijs inbegrepen. Het kan wel maar dan moet je voor 2 personen $ 50,= neertellen. Het is wat rommelig om het huis en de kamer oogde in eerste instantie wat smoezelig. De eigenaresse heeft ons verzekerd dat de kamer schoon was. Blijft dat de sofa en de gordijnen smerig waren. Voor het overige was ons verblijf plezierig. Ruime kamer, Nespresso apparaat met elke dag 4 cupjes, en de eigenaresse doet echt haar best om haar gasten het naar hun zin te maken. De B&B is gevestigd in een oud landhuis dat vrij ver van de bewoonde wereld ligt, in een prachtige omgeving.

Attractive, peaceful hotel near Margaret River

It was lovely staying off the beaten track in the Margaret River region. The hotel consists of a handful of very attractive suites, all with a wonderful outlook to the garden and bush beyond. Our room was tastefully decorated, very large and comfortable. It opened out to a big deck where a delicious breakfast was served at a time of our choosing.

Luxury hidden in the forest.

Elegant country style guest house surrounded by beautiful forest. Beautifully appointed room and with spa bath. Air conditioning was great for the very cold nights and the candles were a nice touch. Although outdoor chairs were provided, the comfortable lounge chairs could be temporarily taken onto the balcony for a relaxed read with a peaceful backdrop of forest greenery and farmland. Very comfortable, although we forgot slippers and the tiled floor, though practical and tasteful, was a little hard on bare feet. Great advice from our lovely hostess on places to go and things to try. An error in charging was quickly rectified as promised, which was great and so appreciated.

Comfortable and warm and lovely.

The room itself was fantastic, the atmosphere was just what the Doctor ordered. There was a TV and DVD player with a selection of movies to watch. I will be going back again and again.

Lovely bed and breakfast.

The location is best described as a bed and breakfast as it is family run and the service was friendly and unassuming if not as 'full on' or 'on demand' as a city hotel for example. Never the less, a good condition room in a picturesque area made for a relaxing stay. Near plenty of wineries although quite an isolated venue. Overall a 4.5 star stay and well worth it.

A delightful getaway location

We would highly recommend Erravilla Country Estate for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable and relaxing location with a bit of luxury thrown in. Run like a B&B with the owners providing a very friendly and personalised service. Breakfast (included) was delightful and consisted of local produce - eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee and juice. It is central to the major winery region and perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely quiet hide away with spacious room

We loved this place, a little bit off the beaten track, it was quiet, spacious and very friendly. We stayed upstairs with a large balcony with morning sun (perfect for early risers to have a coffee in the morning sun). With an infant they provided a baby cot and there was also a high chair for breakfast which was handy. We also got to use the kitchen and barbecue one evening which was perfect as we wanted a night at home without driving. And as others have mentioned, the breakfast was wonderful. We loved the area all together, probably rating Dunsborough higher than Margret river town, and the wild beaches on the west are really something.

The most beautiful relaxing stay we had 2 nights of bliss, dinner on the balcony, candels, a couple of glasses of red, then a amazing spar , slept like a baby, then woke up to a beautiful cooked breakfast brought to our room , again eating it on our balcony such a beautiful view, definitely going there again.

Amazing Holiday!

We came from Sydney for an extended long weekend over the Australia Day weekend. Erravilla was an absolute stunning property in such a convenient location and surrounded by the beautiful countryside, kangaroos and all! Although you can enjoy the serenity here, you are then only 15km from Dunsborough where there is the most untouched, unpopulated coastline which is just amazing - the best of both worlds! The manager at the property was the kindest most lovely lady and her good nature alongside her incredible breakfasts really made this an amazing stay. I highly recommend this place!
