"The hotel was clean & staff were friendly & very helpful. I had to go in to ask about entry to the carpark which wasn't an issue & there was plenty of parking spaces. We paid for the breakfast which was continental This is not a criticism, but It would have been nice to have the food available replenished more often. The bread on offer was delicious I recommend staying & we would stay again "

It’s an older hotel but they’ve refreshed it where possible and the biggest thing was how clean it was. It’s great value and in a good location. "Parking was really safe, weird hours for reception opening and closing and it was a little tricky to get in once the reception is closed. Good for a journey south as a quick stop over. Halls smelt of damp but the rooms were clean and nice. No option for a evening meal and bar service closed at 8pm, but some nice options in walking distance. I would bring essentials e.g snacks and drinks with you."

"Executive room was comfortable, bed was particularly so. Everything you would expect in the room. Hotel very helpful. Breakfast was great and relaxed. Restaurant next door straightforward and nice. Great base for the Somme great war sites, would recommend. "
