"Big rooms, great staff!"

"Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same...

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel as it seemed older, and we did not have high hopes. It was clean and seemed like they did some updates. The staff, and we spoke with many, because we always have questions, were all outstanding and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. "The updates guest room was very nice. However, the lobby is in the middle of a renovation and new tile was being laid. I should have been made aware of the situation before my arrival. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and made good recommendations about local areas of interest and restaurants. "
