"Booked a 2 days/1 night cruise with Orchid Classic. Above all a big shout out to the staff. They do go a long way to give you the best experience. In particular, Hoa was looking after us and she has delivered a fantastic service. The boat is a little tired but very comfy and has all the required amenities including a jacuzzi and some kayaks. Ha Long bay has disappointed as the water is quite dirty. There are far too many boats, not providing any privacy on the boat. The activities included...

"We had a spacious room for the four of us which was generally clean. Close to the town center we could easily reach all kinds of restaurants. We had lovely pancakes fruit and tea for breakfast. The staff was super lovely and helpful, when one friend tripped down the stairs we were even helped and driven to our bus pick up point. So we had a really lovely stay."

Disappointing to see so much trash in the sea, although this is out of control of this particular cruise boat."

"The boat was nice. It’s not the luxury liners you see, but it was a nice size and the rooms were good. The dinning area was cozy making it great for mingling with other passengers. The top deck was nice. What made the trip for us was the food and the staff. The staff were wonderful. Very kind and friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!! They upgraded us to the better rooms so we had better views Food was amazing and plentiful If you wanted a cruise to ha long bay without a whole bunch of people being loud and cramping your style, this is the one!!
