"Lovely stay at Kingscroft hotel, very peaceful location, check in was quick greeted by Wol on arrival ( such a lovely host) & taken to our room which was clean, big & exceptionally clean. Lots of extras including plenty of towels, toiletries, hairdryer, tea/coffee & biscuits. Bed was very comfy & bathroom was modern with great shower. 10 minutes to walk to centre of Buxton Breakfast , we aren’t vegetarian but my goodness we didn’t miss the usual bacon/ sausages! "I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was very dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. There were noticeable yellow stains on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bedding was unhygienic and didn't feel clean at all. I definitely would not recommend staying here."

"Staff on checking in were polite and dhowed us toom and facilities. Room was small , clean but personally it wasnt eorth the price we were charged. Booked breakfast but was informed it wasn't available until 8.30am and ee had to leave earlier than that do even thought id osud extra gor breakfast and fid inform thrn upon arrival, we werent offered reductions."

"The room was nice and very affordable, nice quiet area and good security with the cameras and door codes. Very easy to book and travel to with bus stop down the street. The main issue was the other people staying there lacking hygiene and respect as whenever I used the toilet there was wee all over the seat. This is not the owners fault, but the other guests.
