"Exceeded expectations. Very good staff. Excellent room. Particularly good bed and bed linen. Excellent ensuite bathroom. Beautiful location. Quality breakfast. Very very good lamb cutlets for dinner. Very good local Lord Lucan beer. Thoroughly enjoyed a sadly short stay."

"The hotel is very picturesque and characterful. The room was well appointed and decorated. You can eat downstairs in the pub and there was a good menu choice and a range of ales and lagers. Our food was very tasty. Breakfast options are limited. "

"Really great 4 night stay here for a work trip. Flat was lovely and clean other than whoever washed up last didn't do a great job as some of the plates were a bit dirty. Flat is in a perfect location with a supermarket a 10 second walk away and surrounded by restaurants. Also a 2 minute walk to some lovely gardens. Would definitely recommend."
