"Simply beautiful, staff could not do enough to help, check in was easy and quick. Stunning location and a small village a short stroll away. Room was clean and adequate with all tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is continental with other options available to purchase. We had a full Welsh breakfast and avocado on toast and it was amazing. All topped off with stunning views would definitely recommend and visit again."

"Beautiful hotel with an incredible tiered outdoor terrace facing the lake. A great place to watch the sunset, have a pint, and listen to the sounds of the steam engines hard at work."

"Su the owner was very accommodating and was flexible on our arrival time. Helpful reception was efficient and even showed us to the room. Spacious, clean and had all the usual facilities. Had the evening meal which was tasty and filling. Price was compatible with other local establishments. There is also free wi fi and limited free parking. A big bonus is that it is only a five minute walk into the city centre. Very enjoyable stay."

"A parking space should be allocated to your room number - we found it extremely difficult to explore the island as the car park was always busy… We were also disappointed with the menu choices… The hotel is beautiful inside and outside and the staff were very helpful and friendly…"

"Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."

"Everything was fine and plenty of parking. Wine and cakes to greet us! The mobile home is tight (e.g. narrow doors - compared to a normal home) but this was expected, even for a big van. Nevertheless, plenty big enough for three of us. Owners could not be more helpful. Great hosts. The noise from the busy A487 when bedroom windows are open during hot nights can be a bit disturbing for light sleepers - but then we were in an unusual heat wave! Kitchen well equipped and fully functional Great...

"Excellent location, parking spot outside the property, brilliant views from the balcony, nice touches by owner, wine and milk in the fridge, Welsh cakes on the dining table, 2 bathrooms. Stairs a little steep, so be aware of that when booking"
